  • Sonal Khimji (director and founder), has a wide range of expertise in data protection, spanning over 15 years. Sonal is passionate about supporting organisations of all different shapes and sizes both global and local.
  • A solicitor by profession, Sonal’s technical expertise lies in data protection law and employment law. Sonal has practised as a lawyer for over 16 years, 15 of which include experience working in data protection, from multinational technology companies to local authorities and schools across the South of England.
  • Nowadays, Sonal is called on to act as Head of Legal and DPO for organisations of all sizes. As her experience and exposure has grown, Sonal is able to look at a problem with a strategic mind, taking into account any PR, political or legal ramifications of a decision.
  • Sonal has dealt regularly with the supervisory authorities on a variety of data protection matters and is typically called upon to deal with complaints or breaches.
  • Sonal is particularly passionate about women performing in leadership roles, and as an alumni of the Windsor Leadership Trust knows the importance to a business of empowering women.
